Averaging of biological signals
Němeček, Tomáš ; Vítek, Martin (referee) ; Smital, Lukáš (advisor)
The main objectives of this thesis are to study theory of signal averaging, filtered residue method and methods of stretching/shrinking signal. It will also test the functionality of those methods. Thesis contains theoretical analysis, explanation of principles and testing of behaving of used methods.
Deconvolution of hemodynamic response from fMRI data
Bartoň, Marek ; Kolář, Radim (referee) ; Havlíček, Martin (advisor)
This paper deals with the variability of HRF, which may have crucial impact on outcomes of fMRI neuronal activation detection in some cases. There are three methods described - averaging, regression deconvolution and biconjugate gradient method - which provide HRF shape estimation. In frame of simulations regression method, which uses B-spline curves of 4-th order for window length of 30 s, was chosen as the most robust method. Deconvolution estimates was used as HRF models for classic analyse of fMRI data, concretely visual oddball paradigm, via general linear model. Enlargement of localizated areas was observed and after expert consultation with scientific employees from neurology clinic, outcomes was evaluated as relevant. Furthermore Matlab application, which provides confortable observation of HRF variability among brain areas, was made.
Averaging of biological signals
Kubík, Adam ; Čmiel, Vratislav (referee) ; Smital, Lukáš (advisor)
The main aim of this thesis is to introduce issue of averaging of biological signals. The first part of the thesis deals with the principles of individual averaging methods (constant, floating and exponential window) and describes their basic features. Moreover, the principle of filtered residue, detection of QRS complex, and stretching/shrinking the length of RR-interval to the standardized length are explicated. In the second part of the thesis the outcomes of practically realized (Matlab and GUI) methods of averaging (by final signal-to-noise ratio) are evaluated. Signals from MIT-BIH database are used.
Biological data averaging
Mlčoch, Marek ; Vítek, Martin (referee) ; Smital, Lukáš (advisor)
The thesis deals with the biological data averaging applied to a periodical and repetitive signal, specifically to an ECG signals. There were used signals from MIT-BIH Arrhythmia database and ÚBMI database. Averaging was realized with constant, floating and exponential Windows, where was used the method of addition of the filtered residue. This method is intended to capture the slow variations from the input to the output signal. The outcomes of these methods can be used as a basis for further work, or function as an example of principled methods. Methods and its outcomes were created in Matlab.
Crisis prevention in management of construction projects
Skalický, Martin ; Hromádka, Vít (referee) ; Špirková,, Daniela (referee) ; Bobek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Puchýř, Bohumil (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the prevention of crises in the management of construction projects. It deals with risk management process, risk management methodologies according to standards, organizations and publications of authors. Detailed methods of risk identification, risk analysis and treatment are described in detail. The thesis also explaines the methods of crisis management and the general expression of the crisis. Instruments of financial analysis have also been described to predict the dangers of a construction site. The aim of the dissertation is to confirm the significance of the hierarchy of risks in the process of their management. The second goal of the dissertation is to demonstrate the correlation between the crisis in the project and the crisis in the construction company.
Determination of selected metals in edible mushrooms in the Kladno district
ŠIMŮNKOVÁ, Eliška
The aim of this work was to determine the concentrations of rubidium, zinc, iron, copper, strontium and manganese in samples of edible mushrooms and to compare our results with other studies. The literary research contains brief information about mushrooms, soils, metals, used analytical method and research site. During the summer months of 2020 and 2021 twelve samples of seven edible mushroom species were collected from the forest between the former mines of Kladno for the purpose of the practical part. The whole practical part of the bachelor thesis was performed in the laboratory of the Department of Applied Chemistry, Faculty of Agriculture and Technology of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. Measured values were recorded in tables and statistically processed. Through analysis we found out that a parasol mushroom belongs to mushroom species with the highest ability to accumulate metals. Among the analyzed samples we found the highest content of iron (1148 mg/kg), copper (150 mg/kg) and the second highest of manganese (339 mg/kg). On the other hand the least able to cumulate metals between analyzed mushroom species was red cracking bolete which contained the lowest contents of manganese (15 mg/kg) and strontium (1,6 mg/kg). The stink snake is worth mentioning because of its high strontium (10,1 mg/kg) and manganese (643 mg/kg) accumulation. Measured manganese content significantly exceeded the values measured in other analyzed samples.
Determination of selected metals in edible mushrooms in the Příbram district
DVOŘÁKOVÁ, Hana
The aim of this work was to determine the concentrations of rubidium, cesium, lithium, strontium and supplemental elements of copper, iron, manganese and zinc in samples of edible mushrooms and to compare the measured concentrations with the studies mentioned in the literary research. In addition to the results of the studies, the literary research contains brief informations about mushrooms, individual elements, the used method and the monitored location. For the purposed of the practical part, 19 samples of nine edible mushrooms species were collected from the vicinity of a lead smelter in the village of Podlesí near Příbram. The samples were the first processed by microwave digestion and then analyzed by AAS (atomic absorption spectrometry). The whole practical part of the thesis was carried out in the laboratory of the Departemnt of Applied Chemistry, Faculty of Agriculture of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. The analysis results were recorded in tables, statistically and graphically processed an evaluated in the discussion. From the analysis we found the species of mushoom with the most cumulate metals ability is a toadstool rosacea. Among the analyzed samples we found the highest concentration of strontium (22,5 mg/kg), lithium (0,6 mg/kg), iron (223,0 mg/kg) and manganese (69,7 mg/kg). On the other hand, the least cumulative species was boletus brown with the lowest concentrations of copper (10,1 mg/kg), iron (29,5 mg/kg) and manganese (5,2 mg/kg) being determined. The less cumulative species was also boletus edulis, which was found to have at least strontium (2,2 mg/kg) and lithium (0,3 mg/kg). It is worth mentioning the larch bolete, in which we have determined the greatest concentration of rubidium (364 mg/kg) and cesium (11,7 mg/kg), but the least of zinc (68,7 mg/kg). Likewise, a parasol mushroom absorps copper to a large extent (255 mg/kg), but on the contrary it contained the least cesium (0,5 mg/kg) and rubidium (11,8 mg/kg).
Collage and its development peripeties with in connection to nontraditional means of expression and artistic techniques
Marxová, Lenka ; Bláha, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Uhl Skřivanová, Věra (referee)
The topic of this diploma thesis is the development and transformation of a collage which overlaps to non-traditional expression means and art techniques. The theoretical part deals with the change of a collage and its peripetials. It presents reflections on what still can be considered a collage, not only in terms of techniques with collages closely related (eg, assemblages, de-collage), but mainly in terms of the individual principles that allow to grasp collage as a concept and to observe it in various domains. The issue of a collage, examined in the theoretical part, is transformed into a thematic serie, which is presented in the form of didactic structures that were implemented in school practice and reflected by the teachers. The artistic part depicts an author's project using one of the presented collage principles - joining of individual components into the resulting whole. The project, among other things, deals with the question of whether it is possible to construct an identity of a certain place using visual records of different participants separate pages of the book. Key words: collage, assemblage, de-collage, montage, crumple technique, technique of stratification, cumulation, art object, installation, concept, body art, digital collage, net art, art education
